New Prices for Illumina Sequencing Runs
As of April 2nd, Illumina will be institutimg a new price list for many of its products (see Illumina announcement). The prices of Illumina sequencing runs at GGBC will be increased accordingly. The average increase is about 5% of the actual kit price as we buy it from Illumina.

The Georgia Genomics and Bioinformatics Core, the University of Georgia’s core laboratory for nucleic acid sequencing and bioinformatics, invites applications for a Laboratory Manager I. The primary duties will be associated with DNA sequencing services (Capillary, Illumina, and PacBio Sequel in struments) as well as general lab duties. The Laboratory Manager I will perform experiments, interpret results, adjust procedures if needed, assist with the technical design of projects, and may supervise students and staff.
