Ordering

On December 2, 2017, the GeneSifter ordering and billing system was replaced by the Facility Billing System (FBS) portal. The new FBS portal is the new customer portal for ordering, scheduling, invoice management, and utilization reporting.

Exisiting Customers

Log in above, entering your username and password.

  • For UGA labs:  this is your MyID and password
  • For non-UGA labs:  this is the email address you used to create your account and the password you selected.

New Customers

Register as a new customer.

Place a new order or view current/previous orders

FBS Portal

  • Log in to the FBS Portal.
  • Go to the “Products and Services Catalog” on your Home Page.
  • Select the desired service or product from the list of options.
  • After you submit your order, an order number will be created.
  • All orders can be accessed from your home page.

GeneSifter Archive

On December 2, 2017, the GeneSifter ordering and billing system was replaced by the Facility Billing System (FBS) portal. GeneSifter archives will available for a few months after the transition to allow customers to download or archive previous orders and invoices.

FBS Portal Help
  • Click on the question mark in the top left corner of your screen and select the topic of interest.

  • Another help option is to chat online with a knowledgeable FBS representative by clicking the Live Chat button located at the bottom right corner of your Home Page screen.
  • Phone Support is available through an FBS representative weekdays from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time. Please call 205-202-8400 and select Option 3.
