Dear GGBC Users, We are pleased to launch the GGBC “Quick Quote” tool. This tool will allow you to generate a quick cost estimate of any work you plan to do at GGBC. The cost estimate can also be used to budget for any proposed work at GGBC in your grant proposals. If you need an official quote you will need to contact the GGBC business office. We are pleased to launch the GGBC “Quick Quote” tool.  This tool will allow you to generate a quick cost estimate of any work you plan to do at GGBC. The cost estimate can also be used to budget for any proposed work at GGBC in your grant proposals.  If you need an official quote you will need to contact the GGBC business office.  A step-by-step illustration of how-to use the quick quote tool is posted on our website (here).  On the GGBC home page, there is a “Quick Quote” button that takes you to the tool.   The tool is hosted on GGBC FBS portal (here).

All UGA account holders must now submit a valid SpeedType or ChartString when placing an order.  The ChartFields within the ChartString must be delimited with periods. The ChartString must include the following Five ChartFields in order:

FundCode.Department.ProgramCode.ClassCode.BudgetRef

Optionally, the following three ChartFields (Project.Unit.Activity) as exemplified here, can also be added to the ChartString:

FundCode.Department.ProgramCode.ClassCode.BudgetRef.Project.Unit.Activity
